Summer LOI Beer of Inspiration night

For many years, adults of all ages have consumed a variety of beverages to quench their thirst!

Freemasons participating in this summer’s Marlow and Beaconsfield Lodge of Instruction are running a new special evening for Light Blues called the Beer of Inspiration Night. This is an opportunity for all masons in the province, particularly those who have white or light blue aprons, to come out, meet others and enjoy a pint and a meal.

This is a first for Buckinghamshire, in the same tradition as London’s Light Blues evenings which we hope to expand depending on numbers attending in the future. In several other provinces, Light Blues evenings are social events; typically oriented at newer masons from white aprons up to master masons, who have not yet been through the chair. They’re setup specifically to help get to know others, in a relaxed setting, and in many locations also have their own fundraising and evening events.

It will be held at the Bounty Pub in Bourne End, Cockmarsh,  Bucks SL8 5RG on 5th July from 6-9pm. http://thebountypub.com/index.html. The Bounty is on the Thames waterfront, with a large garden down to the river.

A map to the pub is here https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1UC4oTAvVoL00QUPXZ5oY2IqAM-U&usp=sharing

You can come via boat, or there is easy parking in Cookham Common or beside Bourne End train station: a short walk will lead you to the gathering.

Note: For those who have mobility impairments, if you will call the Bounty on 01628 520056 they have a boat that can collect you from Bourne End Marina and bring you to the dock.
