Every Lodge must take care of all its members. The Lodge Mentor has a vital role to play as it is his responsibility to ensure that Mentoring is not only implemented, but that it also works effectively in his Lodge. He must co-ordinate the Mentoring process to ensure that every member has a suitable and effective Mentor who will nurture them on their Masonic journey and to whom they can turn when needed.
When Lodge Mentors, now installed formally at Installations, receive their collar they are charged with managing the Masonic Education of the members, particularly those less experienced Brethren so they can make the appropriate advancement in Masonic knowledge and thus be rendered fit members of our regularly ordered society.
