The day after presenting a cheque to Dementia UK, St Barnabas Lodge 948 was delighted to present a second cheque for a similar amount - £1,511.23 - to the Beecroft Balloon Society.
The Society is a Dunstable based charity offering help and support to disadvantaged and elderly local residents by taking them shopping, running errands, organising Christmas lunches and get-togethers, and performing tasks around their homes and gardens.

Being a small charity, Mick and Graham were extremely grateful for the donation, which would cover the running costs of their minibus for an entire year.
