Beaconsfield Carers Lunches 2012Time to enjoy themselves
Beaconsfield branch of Freemasonry in the Community once again held a Christmas lunch on 25th November for 58 adult Carers who get on with looking after a loved one day in, day out, 24/7, 12 months of the year.
David Pryor, the caterer at the Beaconsfield Centre, put on a slap up 3 course meal, including a flaming Christmas Pudding. We had a variation on the games of bingo and heads and tails and fabulous entertainment from Dominic...

1st Stokenchurch Scouts win ihelp 2012
Part of the Scout promise is to help other people and be involved in group activities with others to create a more tolerant and caring society.
To this end, the 1st Stokenchurch Scouts, who wanted to be involved with people of their own age, decided to organise and fund an all-expenses paid weekend camp for local young carers. To do this, they needed to raise £600.
A quiz night and a sponsored cycle/row/run to Paris and back raised the money with...

David Jason Supports ihelp
Actor Sir David Jason showed his support for ihelp when he opened the Ellesborough Village Jubilee Fete recently, and visited the Freemasonry in the Community stand. Over 1000 people attended the event.
Local freemasons raised £1,500 for the local Army, Navy and Air cadets to help them with their Jubilee beacon and a twenty-one-gun salute which took place on Coombe Hill in the evening.
