The Lodge Master's Role
The Worshipful Master is elected each year by the Brethren of the Lodge and is then “installed” into the Chair by his predecessor. He usually occupies the office for one year, although in an emergency this can be extended to two. He is in charge of the Lodge for his year, acts as its Chairman and normally conducts most of the ceremonies.
