Mentor's Review

September 2010

Following the success of this year’s Mentoring workshops and the roll out of Phase 1 of the implementation of Mentoring in Buckinghamshire, we are now ready to go forward into the September season with a very high percentage Lodges having a Mentor in place.

Centre coordinators will now start to visit lodges which have not yet appointed a Mentor with a view to encouraging them to appoint a suitable member to the role and asking him to attend a workshop to get the scheme off the ground in his lodge. We will also be starting to collect information from our Mentors to enable us to look at the performance of the scheme.

More workshops will be provided as demand dictates. These will be held at Horwood House in the north and Phyllis Court in the south and will have the same format as before with many modifications to the program using experience and feedback from those who took part in the ones held earlier this year.

My team and I are available to visit your Lodges and give you any assistance that we can;

  • Eraldo Guarino                      Slough Centre Representative
