On 27th July, the Province of Buckinghamshire was honoured by a visit from the M.W. Grand Master, H.R.H. the Duke of Kent. He was accompanied by the Grand Secretary, Nigel Brown, and the Grand Director of Ceremonies, Oliver Lodge.
At a "garden party" held at Stoke Place, the Duke was introduced by the Provincial Grand Master and the Grand Superintendent to members of their Executives, Masters of forty Lodges and First Principals from 24 Chapters.
In additon, His Royal Highness saw displays from the various activities held in the Province, includnig ihelp, Freemasonsry in the Community. Masonice Trout & Salmon Fishing Charity, Town, County and Village Shows and the Rock Ride Team. The Grand Master took time to talk to everyone present which left a lasting impression on everyone present.
