Bletchley Ladies having fun

The Bletchley Ladies Luncheon Club enjoyed a lovely seasonal gathering on 13th December. There was much fun, pulling crackers, enjoying a lovely three-course Christmas luncheon, socialising and singing carols and songs, greatly encouraged by their visitors – the Bletchley Belles choir.  The Centre’s decorations added to the social festive atmosphere and  Christmas wreaths were ordered and collected to adorn front doors.

The January meeting welcomed a speaker on insurance scams with some very interesting and enlightening tales to tell from all over the world!

A new committee of seven ladies was elected at the AGM. Many speakers on a varied selection of topics have already been booked for 2013 and lots of ideas for future trips are under consideration.

Cheque Presentation Evening

Bletchley Ladies were very pleased to be invited to the Buckinghamshire Lodges’ Presentation Evening held in November at Beaconsfield to present the Lunch Club’s cheque in support of the Milton Keynes Young Carers.  This was the chosen charity for the Bletchley Club’s fifth anniversary special charity donation.
